BHOC Working with FEMA, Others to Aid Hurricane Victims

AURORA, CO— The Beacon of Hope Outreach Center is working diligently to aid the victims of Hurricane Katrina by gathering clothing, household items, furniture, toys, and essential living items beginning immediately and continuing for several months.

Of course, the most immediate need is for money to purchase food items, water, emergency products, first aid essentials, and more, and BHOC is preparing to host a special fundraising event, which will be announced within days.

BHOC is working with the Federal Emergency Management Agency, Samaritan’s Purse, and churches throughout the south to provide much needed resources to those hardest hit by this devastation.

Aurora, CO – Watermark Publishing is happy to announce the release of the long-awaited book by BHOC founder and Executive Director, Rev. Leo Pacheco.  The book entitled Joy Comes in the Mourning recounts the horrific details of sexual molestation and the tragic car accident that took the lives of two beloved family members.

Pacheco opens the door to those who are suffering or struggling with loss.

New Partnership Helps Americans Become “Debt-Free”

The Beacon of Hope Outreach Center is proud to announce our recent partnership with Sharing Way and their new pre-paid MasterCard debit program that not only helps Americans get out of debt and manage their finances, but sows seed into BHOC on behalf of the cardholder.

This innovative new program is not like ordinary pre-paid cards and does not require a credit check, bank history, employment verification, or for the cardholder to have a checking account.

Cardholders without bank accounts can even choose to have their paychecks directly deposited to the card, providing instant access to funds.  In addition, the card comes with many benefits including prescription discounts, movie discounts, roadside assistance, and calling card features.
